Graduated from Voronezh State Technical University. After graduation, worked on hardware solutions as a microcontrollers software developer. After that started working in Wrike. Developed tools and ETL for analysts in Analytics department. After one year started working on distributed computing cluster based on Mesos and Spark. And still works on cluster and tools for analytics team.
In 1997-2004, Roman worked in Sun's JDK, in 2004-2008 he moved to Intel where he also worked on Java-related projects. After that spent 6 years at Yandex. Since 2015, Roman changed his professional domain and now trains speakers on technical conferences and generally coaches people willing to make better presentations.
Was born in 1979 in St.Petersburg (Leningrad) and graduated from Physics Department of St.Petersburg State University. His experience with Java dates back from the version 1.1. For many years Vitaly was an assistant professor in St.Petersburg State University and taught computer science and mathematics courses. From 2015 is a senior analyst in Odnoklassniki, where he deals with various aspects of data mining and machine learning. Has been involved with functional programming for many years and outside of the main job and Java stack is also a Haskell programmer. For data mining purposes uses both Spark/Scala and R programming language.
